Smells, Love, Touch and Neurogenesis

We have already learned with you how to read people by their eyes movements, using NLP.  How to Read People (Part 2)

Smells

Today we shall discuss with you another very significant topic: the importance of smells in our life.

If somethings smells good or has no odor at all – then it is good or neutral for us. This is how we identify food and dishes, perfume and people.

On the contrary, if something or somebody smells awful or disgusting, that person or  thing does not go with our nature and wellness. It means that you can easily stop relationships with people who smell terrible, no matter how much expensive perfume they wear. Our nature protests against them, regardless of how good they try to be with you…

People who are in love – ideally match through natural mechanisms of complementarity – never sense each other’s  smells. If you ask one of them how their partner smells, they would tell you nothing or may add: “Wonderful, delightful and agreeable!”

Touch

Similarly to smells, people whose touchings give rise to storms of negative emotions or involuntary protests, show that they are not for us. Usually we actively avoid these people and their objects of personal belonging.

On the contrary, when people form a perfect  match, especially lovers, they enjoy touching each other under different pretexts. If the situation is public, then loving each other people would caress each other with their smiling and admiring eyes.

On the second layer of our retina there are special amacrine cells.

Amacrine cells are framed blue on the diagram

These cells contain dopamine – neurosubstances of drive, wellness and actively experiencing pleasure.

Amacrine cells are circled yellow on the photo

For this reason people drink alcohol to notice only good things about people and ignore ugliness.

Neurogenesis

Neurogenesis is the natural process of neurons and their healing & maintenance cells’s birth and maturation.

Each sensory system (vision, hearing, touch and movement, smell, taste, even inner talk) manifests itself  through neurons.

Every day thousands of stem cells appear in our bodies and brains. They come out of neuro and cells blasts – special for each type of cells tissues.

Human embryo is revealing  the inner cell mass

Now you understand, how important it is to think and cherish things and people you love. The more often you enjoy something or somebody, the more neurons for this appear and mature to supply you with pleasure, health and wellness.

Olfactory tissue. Red are receptors. Green are neurons.
The more pleasant vs unpleasant smells you identify, enjoy or reject, the more receptors appear, the richer experience you have…

Somatic stem cells.
The more often you are touched and caressed with love and fondness,
the more cells for physical pleasure appear
and make your life a paradise.

How does it smell and taste?

Life is wonderful with this knowledge, right?

Stem cells

Later I will tell you more about neurogenesis. It is fascinating!

Lovely Relationships: How to Attract (Part I)

We can be high-class specialists, respected and valued by others, We could live an interesting life, make good money, read books, travel, sparkle with humor in friendly environments. However, without lovely relationships we feel empty, no matter how tricky we try to hide this fact from ourselves.

Nothing can ever substitute lovely relationships – the type of satisfying interaction between two people: a man and a woman. Love is a very rich natural context, where only the best human qualities manifest themselves effortlessly. Love unites people, enriching feelings and magnifying pleasant sensations and emotions.

People in love can talk about everything in the world. Being in each other’s company brings forward comfort, inspiration, mutual respect, easiness.

How do we recognize lovely relationships? – Immediately, by the feeling of shyness and tenderness, felling good, the desire to meet often and being together with each other physically as long as possible.

Where to meet your matching half? Nowadays we use Internet, exploring social networks. Of course, virtual communication with so-called “friends” adds nice feelings to our current states.

Yet, not a single intelligent computer or a virtual friend will ever caress you physically, touching your body, your skin, your hair, your lips with tenderness, love and desire…  to experience mutual pleasure…

There are many methods to attract love, some of them we have already discussed with you.

Human Warmth and Fluffy Clothes from Golden Fleece (Part 1)

When we see, touch or wear fluffy clothes, we feel nice and loved. This is how Nature and creative people love and take care of us.

High in the mountains there are beautiful alpine meadows with gorgeous flowers, juicy grass and healing herbs.

For centuries people cultivated sheep breeding in Caucasus both for food and clothes.

Shashlik,  traditional Caucasian food

It not only juicy looking, it’s really, really tasty.

Each weekend I go to the mountains to have such nice dinner.

Pain and Pleasure

Consulting clients as well as just talking to people displayed a very odd tendency.

People avoid talking about pleasure. Even the word itself is very rarely even pronounced.

Instead, people eagerly talk about pain and feel sorry for each other about hurting and unhappy situations.

Why? Did you ask yourself about it? Do you know the answer?

Cross-cultural research indicates that a pleasure-prone personality rarely displays violence or aggressive behaviors, and a violent personality has little ability to tolerate, experience, or enjoy sensuously pleasing activities. As either violence or pleasure goes up, the other goes down.

Nevertheless, people are constantly in search of new forms of pleasure, yet most of our 'pleasure' activities appear to be substitutes for the natural sensory pleasures of touching. These include:
- overeating
- seeking for social approval
- alcohol and drugs
- self-show, etc.
We touch for pleasure or for pain or we don't touch at all.  The deprivation of physical sensory pleasure is the principal root cause of violence.  Laboratory experiments with animals show that pleasure and violence have a reciprocal relationship, that is, the presence of one inhibits the other.

The reciprocal relationship of pleasure and violence is highly significant because certain sensory experiences during the formative periods of development will create a neuropsychological predisposition for either violence-seeking or pleasure-seeking behaviors later in life.

A lack of tender, loving patting, caressing touches and emotional approval - sensory deprivation, somatosensory deprivation in childhood – form the basis of pain in adulthood. We explore this topic in our international project

You can download 2 chapters of the book for free. Or, we will send you this report in PDF by email from love.formula.book@gmail.com. Just let us know.

Brandt F. Steele and C. B. Pollock, psychiatrists at the University of Colorado, who studied child abuse in three generations of families who physically abused their children, found that parents who abused their children were invariably deprived of physical affection themselves during childhood and that their adult sex life was extremely poor.
Unsatisfied, people reprimand and accuse others in their problems

How many of us feel like assaulting someone
after we have just experienced orgasm?
(James W. Prescott, 1975)

Aristotle (Nichomachean Ethics, Book 7) indicates that the reciprocal relationship between pleasure and pain, and recognized that a compulsive search for bodily pleasure originates from a state of bodily discomfort and pain. “We must now explain why the pleasures of the body appear to be more desirable. The first reason, then, is that pleasure drives out pain. When men experience an excess of pain, they pursue excessive pleasure and bodily pleasure in general, in the belief that it will remedy the pain. These remedial (pleasures) become very intense—and that is the very reason why they are pursued because they are experienced in contrast with their opposite. (Nichomachean Ethics, Book 7)

As a left-handed child, I experienced physical abuse myself. My father used a leather belt for beating me. When I turn back now, I understand that my life with my parents in a socially ‘well-to-do’ family was like living in a camp of enemies. This low quality life extended to now, no matter how competent and prosperous I am now.

Yet, long standing research, desire to find solutions expressed itself in my new book

Natalia Levis-Fox. “Pain? Gone!”

It will be published at the end of August as an ebook. It contains easy explanations and nice methods in developing receptors and information substance for physical pleasure.

Let me know, if the topic is interesting and useful for you, OK?
