Russian Matreshka Implements Your Desires

Russian matreshka is a magic doll.

It is always handmade of dry linden tree,

and painted by real Russian masters.

Linden is a very beautiful, useful and healing tree.

Tea of linden flowers

cures you from high temperature and cold.

Initially matreshka was made for children.

It consists of from 5 to 21 dolls, hidden within one big figure.

It had been noticed, that matreshka implements your secret desires.

This is what to be done.

1. You write down 5 – 21 desires – things you would love to have. All depends on the type of matreshka you manage to find.

Levis-Fox Art Gallery have found a 6-piece genuine matreshka for you,
created by Vyatka masters in Russia.

2. When the list is ready, ask a question “Which is my most important desire?”

3. Make it number One and define it on a following way:

“I would like to have / get / meet (object of your desire)”

4. Take 4 small pieces of paper and write down your other 4 desires

5. Take the smallest doll (#1) and whisper your biggest desire into the doll.

6. Put this doll into #2 and add the note with you written desire #2, etc

7. When you close the biggest doll (#5), you put it to the place where you will look at it with pleasure.

8. After one of the desires gets implemented, you burn the doll and the note inside of it.

Good luck!

Anorexia: Psychological Rehabilitation

In our previous posts 1     we had discussed the importance of anorexia’ highly professional medical treatment.

Dr Valentina Fedorova’ clinic was considered as an effective and fabulous modern medical model of anorexia complex treatment. A team of super professionals saved lives to dozens and dozens of anorexic patients.

Dr Fedorova’s progressive approach includes another important aspect. It is psychological rehabilitation.

In medical reality, anorexia is referred to psychiatrist type of disorder. Alongside with tiny organs, anorexic girls have a very narrow and childish mind.

Their aim “to loose weight by all means” leads not only to physical and biological degeneration. Their consciousness remains at the level of 5-10 year olds.

That is why Dr Fedorova invites best psychologists to work in her clinic. Four experts work with anorexic patients both individually and in group therapy.

Tatyana, social psychologist works with a patient in her room

More than that, all patients are involved in art therapy. It is important for both entertainment and successful socialization. Idly-doing in their everyday life, anorexic girls get the chance to acquire an art profession.

Together with a real artist, girls learn

to create pictures

bright souvenirs, magnets for fridges, jewelry out of polymer clay  (bracelets and necklaces)

stained glass artworks

felting artworks, etc.

Currently, we are developing an “International Summer Wellness Camp” project for anorexic patients. The project includes

  • physical rehabilitation
  • psychological rehabilitation
  • social rehabilitation
  • art therapy
  • light labor therapy
  • health tourism, etc,
in a villa, situated in healthy and beautiful place

Where and How to Treat Anorexia Effectively? (Part II)

The fourth reason to treat anorexic girl in a superb medical clinic is grounded in a complex medical treatment (10 years of Dr Fedorova successful treatment experience)

The team of extra-class doctors work day and night

Psychiatrists and therapists

Reanimation experts for the cases of emergency

Psychotherapists

The fifth reason is the exclusive comfort of the clinic.

Each patient stays in a single room. Then there is a nice and comfortable common hall on the ground floor with TV and musical center for rest and group therapy.

The building also includes:

  • Lovely kitchen and a dining room (very much like the one that girls have at home)

Patients have a rich diet prepared of ecologically healthy products

  • Sauna and a massage room. Girls get a professional massage in accordance with their physical state

  • Physic-therapy cabinet with a variety of rehabilitation devices. In case of patient’s poor state the therapy takes place in a patient’s private room

  • Fitness gym. An invited expert trains girls under doctors supervision

The sixth reason. The atmosphere in clinic is very friendly and human, though it is not easy to deal with anorexic patients. Parents do know what we mean by that.

Vice Director is emanating good humor and friendliness

Patients feel comfortable in the clinic rich atmosphere and make friends with each other. They move freely around the clinic territory, take sun baths on the green grass, listen to modern music, read books or just watch TV.

Where and How to Treat Anorexia Effectively?

Anorexia is a disaster for the whole family. It is a big suffering for parents who feel themselves helpless. It is not only the type of eating disorder. More importantly, it is also a psychological disorder.

Anorexia is a condition that goes beyond concern about obesity or out-of-control dieting. A person with anorexia often initially begins dieting to lose weight. Over time, the weight loss becomes a sign of mastery and control. The drive to become thinner is actually secondary to concerns about control and/or fears relating to one's body. The individual continues the ongoing cycle of restrictive eating, often accompanied by other behaviors such as excessive exercising or the overuse of diet pills to induce loss of appetite, and/or diuretics, laxatives, or enemas in order to reduce body weight, often to a point close to starvation in order to feel a sense of control over his or her body. This cycle becomes an obsession and, in this way, is similar to an addiction.

That is why anorexia should be treated clinically. Parents get fully engaged into the games which anorexic girls impose on family. So they become fully co-addicted.

Luckily, there is a private clinic in Russia owned by Dr Valentina Fedorova, a highly authorized expert in treating anorexia. For 10 years Dr Fedorova and her colleagues use systematic approach in healing anorexia successfully.

Now wonder, patients gain 6-12 kg during treatment period of 21 days!

Healing your child in a foreign country has a lot of advantages.

Firstly, there happens a disconnection between a worried & co-addicted mother and the anorexic girl. The child’s abnormal thinness causes pain and feeling of guilt at the same time. On the other hand, the girl’s tricks in controlling her weight by using childish mentality gives rise to resentment and annoyance.

There is nothing wrong with these feelings! It is a normal reaction to the intended fading flesh. Statistics states, that 1% of teenage girls in the U.S. develop anorexia and up to 10 percent may die as a result.

Parents feel fury at all sorts of lies anorexic girls use, trying to deceive their families… to continue their obstinate strategies in weight loss… until it becomes a physical and mental disease.

Secondly, being treated in a foreign country is psychologically favorable. It causes a person

  1. to obey healthy rules and requirements
  2. to use intelligence in order to get accommodated according to unusual circumstances
  3. to communicate with fellow patients (the clinic treats from 5-11 anorexic patients at a time).

Thirdly, Dr Valentina Fedorova created ideal conditions for successful treatment.

Dr Valentina Fedorova

The clinic itself with green lawns, trees and flowers

looks more like a palace than a medical building.

More than that, the clinic is situated in the residential area of Moscow, where very rich and famous people live.

Clinic’s neighboring villas

No wonder these wealthy people chose this famed “Roubleff area” for their villas.

It is surrounded by pine and birch trees, the air is fresh and healing…

The sky in this area is typically blue, peaceful and beautiful...

You will be surprised to learn, that Russian President’s summer palace is only 5 km from Dr Fedorova’s clinic!

Anyway, the prices for anorexia treatment are moderate.

Anorexia: Is It Good To Criticize Your Self?

For years psychologists and psychotherapists tell us to stop criticizing ourselves. And we really try to stop this critics.

You won’t believe, but self-criticism is really good! If you don’t do this, you may fall out of social adequacy.

Look at this girl.

She is anorexic and is really proud of her body and appearance

Statistics states, that 1% of teenage girls in the U.S. develop anorexia and up to 10 percent may die as a result.

My friend and colleague

Dr Valentina Federova – a world leading specialist in anorexia treatment –

invited me to work in her clinic.

As a human-being, I was shocked.  The anorexic girls – patients of the clinic from different countries look alike; their nationality is missing!

Anorexia Nervosa is a disorder in which preoccupation with dieting and thinness leads to excessive weight loss. The individual may not acknowledge that weight loss or restricted eating is a problem.

Anorexia Danger Signals:
  • losing a significant amount of weight
  • continuing to diet (although thin)
  • feeling fat, even after losing weight
  • fearing weight gain
  • losing monthly menstrual periods
  • preoccupation with food, calories, nutrition and/or cooking
  • exercising compulsively
  • bingeing and purging

Physical complications:
  • hair loss
  • gaunt, hollow facial features
  • shrunken breasts
  • dry skin
  • bruises
  • sharply protruding bones
  • cold and blue hands and feet
  • delayed puberty: pre-adolescent females fail to menstruate and develop breasts at normal age; in males, testosterone levels might remain low, leading to impotence
  • menstruation: hormone levels drop, alerting the body that it cannot support a fetus; menstruation becomes irregular or stops completely – can result in temporary or permanent infertility
  • permanent bone loss: susceptibility to stress fractures and osteoporosis
  • mood changes: impatience, irritability, depression, suicidal tendencies
  • insomnia, constipation, sensitivity to cold, kidney failure, abnormally low heart rate and blood pressure
If you child or relative or friend manifests all these features, go to the doctor immediately.

Is it really possible to treat anorexia? – Yes! We shall talk about anorexia effective treatment in our next post.

Advice: forget about loosing weight! You could have a slender figure by using  other simple, nice and safe methods. One of them I describe in my ebook “How to get a beautiful body”, published by Smashwords Inc.

Enjoy tasty food without fear
