Blue Lake: Living Water

There are some places in the world where we love to be from time to time. These places are so attractive for us, that we go there without even thinking why we want there. These places emanate special living energy of fascination, health, vitality and charm. We feel satisfaction there, admiration and plenty other subtle sensations, which charge us with inexplicable appealing energy.

There are many places like this in the Caucasus. Some places quite mysteriously do not want to be photographed! Some places like Blue lakes in Upper Balkaria allow cameras to fix their beauty. So we did last Sunday.

The water in the bigger lake is alive. Have a look at the pictures below.

The purest water changes its color according to natural illumination, ranging from gray to sky blue with clouds floating on the surface within seconds.

It is another lake with living water. It is situated 25 km from the Blue Lake, upper in the mountains.

It is fed from the purest spring in the roaring river valley.

On the high river bank there is a very special flora.

Tiny flowers and herbs radiate the smell and energy of sweet honey…

If you lie down on grass, you immediately fall asleep. You wake up in several minutes, absolutely refreshed, alive, and peaceful…

…like the surrounding nature…

This is barberry bush in blossom

Between the two lakes,

there is a tiny brook with sweet living water

with wild mint on both sides.

I planted 3 small mint roots from this place in my garden.

Aren’t they beautiful?

They seemed to love my small alpine flowerbed with other plants and flowers among the stones.

What are your favorite places in the wild?
