Women's Toast in Pictures

In the Caucasus, there is a very nice tradition – to tell toasts in drinking companies. Most of the toasts are beautiful metaphors; some of them are based on humor. Each toast is a small story, told with rich intonation and gestures. Here is the toast for women’s company.

In the Caucasus, the tree was growing;

there was a cherry on it.

Goat saw the cherry and waited until it ripe and fell.

Cherry ripe and began to fall, but the flying by eagle caught it and flew away.

So let us, as this juicy sweet cherry

get to the Eagles, 

not Goats!
